Here are some travel highlights from a couple of countries I’ve visited!
Belize - 2023
In Belize, I traveled inland to San Ignacio, where I studied culture and documentary filmmaking while connecting with local business owners about their way of life. Through photography and conversation, I captured the spirit of the town—learning from artists, exploring vibrant spaces, and experiencing traditional cooking.
I then journeyed by boat to a small island near South Water Caye, where I focused on underwater photography and videography, documenting Belize’s coral reefs and marine life while snorkeling its clear, vibrant waters.
Scotland-2022
I had the opportunity to live and study in Edinburgh, Scotland, where I gained a broader global perspective through both academic and creative work. I studied Old Scots texts and influential Scottish and Irish authors, deepening my understanding of the region’s cultural foundations while refining my writing.
Beyond the classroom, I explored the Scottish Highlands, creating photography, film, and social media content—including a TikTok from Loch Ness that went viral. The experience strengthened my storytelling across platforms and left a lasting impression both personally and professionally.
